As a software engineer I can tell you that it will be nearly impossible to audit these machines.
There is likely no way of telling when each machine was updated to the latest version. They could have for example counted all the votes in error and then updated them after after counting. They could also have updated them all in the middle of election night and then reverted them back to the valid version at some point.
Update logs will be in the sole possession of Dominion Voting Systems. Which means they could be altered at any time.
