I'm sorry, but I just have to disagree with you. Letting far-left progressives take power when there are better ways (like primary campaigns) to knock off establishment is SURRENDER.
Progressives are the biggest threat our country faces. Why can't you just see that? Don't you understand the damage they can do to this country if we ALLOW them to have power?
My only point (and this is what I'm trying to get across) is that this isn't just a "vote."
We're talking about which party gets control of the senate. Everything you want to accomplish is GONE if they take the senate. The conversation is OVER.
If the progressives take the senate, then it doesn't matter anymore whether or not a Republican deserves your vote, because for the rest of our lives, we will never be able to win an election, because they will add new states to gain a permanent super-majority. They will add 2 states just in Puerto Rico. They will add DC. They will split California into a few states. We're fucked for eternity and none of these things can actually be undone outside of a war.
