For those who are interested, it’s called a binomial distribution. What it is analogous to is flipping a coin, which may not be a fair coin, some number of times and counting the number of heads that occurs. So, if I flipped a fair coin twice and counted the number of heads, the chance of getting 0 heads is 25%, chance of 1 is 50%, and chance of 2 is 25%.
