TLDR; All the voting services companies are shady as hell and any digital infrastructure that was used during the 2020 election should be subpoenaed, especially the live instances of GEMS in states that are still somehow counting. There are American voting system companies like Hart InterCivic (Austin, TX based) who we could actually hold accountable. Why are we not using them?
Established Facts
- Canadian corporation and their equipment is used there as well.
- Owns “Sequoia Voting Systems” who were investigated by the DoJ over anti-trust concerns (consolidation has been the trend for the last thirty years in the industry and these companies cost less than $30M in most cases).
- Responsible for the Hanging Chad Controversy in Florida 2000 Presidential election.
- Defective Touchscreens in Florida in 2007/08.
- Threatening to sue New Jersey if they conducted an audit of the physical machines or software in 2008.
- Was being investigated along with Smartmatic, another similar company, by CFIUS (look it up) over concerns of involvement with the Venezuelan government.
- Owns “Premier Election Systems” who were repeatedly, and I’m talking tens of their physical voting hardware products, shown to be negligent to what some believed to be a criminal degree. When watchdog groups attempted to audit and publish their findings they were told that their proven exploits were not a valid reason to review contracts.
Basically, this entire field is a clown world of it’s own and has been for decades now. We have a non-American company that makes garbage hardware and software who has been credibly investigated by CFIUS over ties to the Venezuelan government providing the bulk of hardware to our voting locations. Pedes, this is basically the story with every single one of these voting services companies. Why there isn’t a Cyber Command initiative to secure the vote is beyond me.
EDIT :: Forgot to mention that any Hammer/Scorecard interference would likely have been implemented within the “GEMS” election management software that runs on county owned hardware, but sometimes on leased hardware that the county doesn’t maintain physical access to and honestly is probably a virtual appliance that can be irrecoverably destroyed following voting.
The important thing to note is that the GEMS instances for uncalled states are still running. The counties should be subpoenaed for a full forensic image of the current GEMS implementation and court orders should be issued to prevent the destruction of any evidence that could be used in future proceedings.

To a great degree yes that’s true. You can see it bleeding over into Washington State where they’ve agreed to contract with a Canadian energy company for a large amount of the state’s electric capacity needs. Why we would ever do food, voting, power, Internet, microprocessors, or defense in another country is beyond me.
Specialization is the way to succeed in a globalized free marketplace. Bullshit. Reducing dependency on other countries is the way to succeed.
Obviously international trade is necessary, but things like designating China as the worlds factory and condemning many generations to astronomically high cancer rates and heavy metal poisoning is unconscionable.
Or flooding Africa with broken USAID packages that were just siphoned off by corrupt political machines instead of actually helping anyone. If we make strong Americans we can send people to fix problems instead of dollar bills.
Moving to India is really interesting because India and China aren't exactly friends. If they kicked off a shooting war there I would be zero percent surprised. This election is really important for Modi too. If CCP Joe gets in there India is going to get a proper fucking from China. A re-elected Trump is what India needs and Xi doesn't.
