Totally agreed! It’s a very disappointing situation because the opponent we are striving against is not just dumb or lying, they’re wilfully ignorant to the degree that they actually believe lies are true and apparently will fight doggedly to enforce those lies.

This makes for a very difficult opponent to overcome in a peaceful way. And realistically it’s even worse, even though these people will never admit this: because it only proves that famous quote from a former CIA chief “Our job at the CIA will never be completed until everything the American people believe to be true is actually a lie”.
