That want to convince their viewers that Biden won, so they can paint Trump to be a dictator who stole the election for four more years.

Indeed Pede. Not all states are called yet, and others are in the process of recounts etc.

Nothing is finalized until the electors vote.

Each state with legal challenges must resolve them first.

No states have certified their vote as of Monday am.

Legal challenges are already active in multiple states.

Significant Fraud and Unlawful State Practices have been identified in multiple states. Individual frauds are rampant... and some of issues cross the 10,000 vote hurdle.

Recounts have been triggered in at least 2 states already - and they are not even done counting...

Provisional Ballots are now under investigation and a few states are over loaded with them... PA has over 100,000 provisional Ballots... NV has 60,000.... Some states have hard deadlines in analyzing Provisional Ballots... GA has until last Friday to fix errors etc.

Al gore was deemed president elect for 37 days before Bush won the Florida recounts.

Anything can happen

That’s not enough for me. Even though it is hopeful. These people are more poisonous

NC and AK (combined 18 votes) havent been called. Likely go Trumps way.

Although already called by most organizations, AZ hasnt officially been decided with 11 votes on the line. It would be a long shot, some 30k ballots left and trump needs over 2/3 of them to pull it off. There also is an additional 48k "provisional ballots" left but that's a whole other problem in it of itself and those may not be valid. Also note, AZ states 0.1% vote differential (approx 3k votes) warrants a recount, any other audit or recount needs to be mandated in court. That's Trumps back up plan if AZ goes for Biden officially.

Then there's PA, MI, WI, and NV with sworn affadivits from witnesses and mounting evidence of illegal activities. We'll have to wait to see how this plays out in court. They have until December 13th (or 14th?) before states officially certify a victor after which the majority party legislature in the state in question votes (all are majority Republican).

Why is action taking so long? Why aren’t we recounting NOW

The votes don’t get certified until December. Trump is not lying when he says the media doesn’t decide the winner and it’s far from over.

“Calling” a state is something the media does. When done honestly, they call a state when a candidate has a sufficient lead that additional counting under expected trends (based on history, polling, and the ballots already counted) would not allow the other candidate to overcome such lead.

There’s nothing “official” about calling a state; just the media doing it.

How do more people not know this?

Because the media’s in charge of teaching us that shit as well. Im only 29, I’m new to a lot of this shit

Word. It wasn’t a dig at you, pede. It’s genuinely concerning civics isn’t better taught or better understood, though I think it’s clear the powers that be like it that way.

No I understand you weren’t I’m just mad that I’m as ignorant about it as I am. And it’s absolutely purposeful. They don’t teach this shit

I lucked out. I had a teacher in high school that openly ridiculed the teacher’s union and made us read Ayn Rand, Locke, etc.

The class wasn’t even really supposed to be about civics, but she worked it in constantly. My parents, particularly my dad, also helped with my understanding of it all.
