I gave up on Newsmax back in 1998 or 1999, whenever it was they did away with their comment section. No warning, just one day the comments were gone, and where the list of folders was, was an announcement that the comments were going to be replaced by "blogs" : IOW, pre chosen tame commentators , no allowing the hoi polloi to express their opinions. That left a bad taste in my mouth ; a paywall doesn't make them sound any better today, but I guess wait and see if they help DJT over the coming weeks.
