They did it with my grandmother who is stuck in assisted living on this election. Someone came to her room to "help" her fill out a ballot and gave her a picture of Biden. Family called to complain, got nowhere with nursing home management. She says she voted Trump. I did check the absentee ballot was returned, hopefully with her choice filled out.
