Someone pointed out to me that there is essentially no limit on SCOTUS power.

They can do what ever and rule how ever.

Right... it would mean that a single state of the union can invalidate any election they want.

than let me point out to you that SCOTUS ruled 2000 election result was fraudulent but than did nothing about it.

"too late, no good remedy comes to mind"

It is as simple as this tweet says, as long as Trump proves his case, which may or may not be simple depending on what evidence they have.

Trump was prepared for this moment though, as he talked about this precise situation in a September rally https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCW45stUbe8&feature=youtu.be&t=2825

From 47:05 until 48:20 In that one minute and 15 seconds he pretty much explains everything that is happening and will be happening at this moment.

If there is no legal resolve and these states remain contested by Dec 14th this will be the solution.

The state legislatures have to make the decision.

Horowitz over at The Blaze wrote a good piece on it. https://www.theblaze.com/op-ed/horowitz-state-legislatures-rectify-election-fraud

I'm learning about the process as we go myself.

It's not a theory.

It is Article II of The Constitution.

It is what will happen if we don't have a clear winner.

Whether we get to it or not is another question.

If that was the case then the whole thing doesn't mean anything. Why even waste time with the state legislatures if they were bound to pick the popular vote winner in their state?

If it got all the way to the state legislatures is because the vote is contested in the first place and the final decision being "Ok we now hand it to the winner of the vote" seems dumb.

Any state legislatures cannot just ignore results and select EV. The point is if there was no clear winner, for whatever reason, and it has to be decided, they get the final vote. But those are extreme circumstances where they would find themselves in that position. An extreme circumstance like we have right now.

Decent point.

I dont think the court would "invalidate the election" but mostly because the election cant be validated in the first place if it is full of fraudulent votes... The correct pitch is to say the court cant validate the election because no one can validate the integrity of the votes.

I could see the supreme court ruling that laws were broken, votes should be invalidated in specific states, and that state legislatures with their electors should act accordingly but basically do nothing. (punting)

I could also see Alito, Thomas, Kav, Gorsuch, and ACB writing a ruling deciding there is so much widespread fraud and unconstitutional actions it invalidates certain states electoral college votes all together, specific action on the basis of protecting non corrupted states is required, and then order the congress to convene for a contingent election vote.

I think the likelihood of the court only eliminating specific votes invalidated in court is minimal.

Its going to take a team of killer lawyers and extreme data nerds for Trump to have a chance at hitting the half court shot. Everyone needs to be doing everything they can to get Trump closer to the hoop.

My prediction is that the dems will concede and the voting will conclude with Trump winning. Arizona will be flipped, Pennsylvania...Nevada too will be flipped, Trump will win the states still undecided.

Their only other choice is allowing the investigations to go on....and letting themselves get thoroughly exposed. The problem for them, though, is that appeasement doesn't work for Trump. He'd rather destroy them. So, he'll take the win ans still call for investigations.

They have gone over the ledge, and is no walking back this time. All in. 4 More years is GoodBye to the Swamp.

Agreed they are going all it and hoping the swamp runs so deep that even the courts will side with them. They know if all this gets reversed it is all over for them

Well, well, well. It seems Mr. Jon Miller is onto something.

Tseliteiv 8 points ago +8 / -0

If this is how it goes down... all I have to say is the people who created the constitution and electoral college were some of the smartest men around. The fact they ensured the vote was by State instead of total votes is something only a genius would have made sure to implement. They foresaw the problems with popular vote in a United States of America.

12th amendment?

7
Hunterscrackbaby 7 points ago +7 / -0

I see nothing in there bout political parties or voting on party lines.

My fear in RINOs voting Biden.

5
TakingCoatsWIN 5 points ago +5 / -0

These are state legislatures that are voting, not the congress in Washington DC.

4
Hunterscrackbaby 4 points ago +4 / -0

Sorry, I am not being clear.

Contested election, neither candidate gets to 270. Goes to the DC house of reresenatives. Each state gets 1 vote decided by each state's delegation.

Republicans control more (27?) but those republicans do not HAVE to vote POTUS. I mean they do if they ever want to be elected again...but they don't HAVE to.

3
TakingCoatsWIN 3 points ago +3 / -0

There must be consensus in the state legislature. These are people back in their home states not in the DC swamp. That's what I mean. Harder to ensnare every single member of a state legislature in every state than it is in the swamp.

Digging my trench. Letter drafts and contact lists for local representatives in a contested state.

I'll celebrate when we're done.

But going to keep digging this trench. Popping up to fire off letters and phone calls. Keep aiming down range until authoritative notification to hold fire.

Maybe it was PROVIDENCE that RGB passed away. Dems will be saying WHY, OH WHY did we not duplicate Weekend at Bernie's?

I don't think he is 100 percent correct, the State Legislature could just refuse to send any Electors in Penn. and then a majority would be 261 right? Someone SPLAIN !!

1
pedeypete 1 point ago +1 / -0

Rest assured these places are cleaning up their mess and making sure they create enough fake ballots, and change others to Biden. In fact, they're doing it now by still not allowing the public to observe.

When this ruling finally comes down, the fraud will be covered up.

I thought the states were split 26 (R) / 23 (D) / 1 undecided? does it go by states that have both of their houses controlled by one party?

Someone texted me the exact same thing and said it was from a friend close to the campaign. Strange.

One piece here isn’t clear: if the supremes don’t force a removal of the illegal portion of mail in ballots, what’s the process for declaring the whole election fraudulent and going to the House and Senate?
