We like to badmouth Barr, and I do it alot too because, really, he's barely come through for us in anything.
But Im still holding out hope that Barr has a few tricks hidden in his bagpipes.
Yeah I won't be happy until I see some top Democrats actually arrested but I haven't 100% given up hope he will do the right thing...only like 99%.
I'm hopeful (and maybe a little skeptical) that the reason why the election was so blatently frauded was that the Dems are truly backed into a corner, and without the presidency, Barr's coming after them.
I don't think Barr has failed to jail dems for lack of trying. These were FBI and intelligence agents at the helm of the deep state operation to take down Trump. They know exactly how to cover their tracks and avoid incriminating themselves.
It's only a crime if it actually happened. So when are the states giving the final statements? When they turn in the official result, that's the moment the real voter fraud is happening.

Barr ultimately failed and was a disappointment, but the one thing I'll say is that he's from NYC. Trump, Gulianni, are fighters because they're from outer borough NYC and so is Barr. IDK why Barr didn't arrest anyone, but I think he's tough

Pedes this is a complex issue, there is a bit of a backstory here..Keep in mind that the GOP had prior to 2018 been placed under a federal order that forbid them from disputing claims of voter fraud in federal elections, this order was in place from 1989 to 2018..This has allowed the Dems to develop a mass voter fraud system that has gone virtually unchecked for the better part of a generation.. They have gotten brazen as they do not fear the courts any longer, Trump isn't someone who will just take the L concede and get the media's applause for being a gracious loser like they want him to be.. The GOP has not fought this kind of aggressive legal push in decades, did Barr tell 🐢 something that gave him the faith to back POTUS, perhaps.. Given that Barr has also ordered the investigation into these claims of fraud is also encouraging. Now we see the final fight, let us pray that we have brave and strong soldiers that are willing to stand against the storm.
I understand why people don't trust him and neither do I necessarily.
But people also need to understand and respect that he is trying to prevent whatever he does from looking partisan. He can't just come out swinging right away. The best thing for him to do is gather mountains of evidence and strike when the time is right.
I know people don't want to hear it but he said what he wanted to do when he accepted the office. He wanted to protect the institutions from the damage that was being done by rogue actors. I think everyone needs to realize he does NOT want destruction. He is desperately trying to keep everything together even though the left is doing everything possible to destroy it. If that means he has to let some dirty players off to keep the game going he will do it.
What he does here really depends on how he sees everything playing out. Will he be able to whitewash the doj doing nothing when apparent fraud comes to light, or does he need to step in and make it look like the doj is legitimate and throw some low level crooks in prison? It sounds like it is the latter, but I have no doubt if he thinks the doj can weather the storm without involvement he would go for it.
Of course that is assuming he still feels the same as when he went in, it DID seem like he realized the left was off the deep end the last time he appeared before congress and wasn't able to speak without being slandered.

Ive kinda had this feeling regarding his stance on Obamagate. He might think that whatever they uncovered would rock the US so hard, that America wouldnt survive. And that its best for the nation, in his opinion, that they whitewash it. Hope Im wrong because fuck the deep state. Cant ignore the problem any longer. They gotta be purged.
That's what Trump's executive order allowing them to fire certain classifications of federal employees will do. They just need to work through the blatant election law violations. The law experts looking at this say that Trump has strong cases in all the states he needs to pull out a win and the Constitution is on his side. Barr is laying low because he can't look like a "Trump henchman" trying to "steal" an election win for Trump, as the media would portray it.

Just to be clear, I totally agree with you and everyone else on this. I just don't think Barr does and it seems like him and most of these establishment types think they can reform from within.
That's foolish... How would the criminals be brought to Justice if not for the Justice Department? I mean to say, without the integrity of that institution, would their prosecution hold any weight? Would the be strung up by a mob?
The electorate has already lost trust in their vote, shall they also lose trust in their Justice Department? How then would they ever regain trust in their vote?
If anything those institutions are LESS respected under him because neither Wray (FBI) or Barr (DOJ) have done jack. The one thing they've tried to do (undo the illegal trial of General Flynn) has not even worked.
