You forgot to mention that they will disregard the supreme court as illegitimate. Many will feel justified in taking to the streets but ultimately their lack of leadership and concrete goals will cause them to splinter from infighting just like every other time.

So it will be 5-4 maybe 6-3. Coup plotters weren't counting on this. Trump team will show SCOTUS extent of Trump's win.

Big jump from Trump landslide / SCOTUS victory to military coup. Even coup plotters must be getting cold feet, even if they can't turn back.
