Nah, minecraft makes sense... once you realize that the entire point of the game is that there is no point, and you're just basically playing with digital legos and letting your imagination take over.
So while you can actually beat Minecraft (as it does have an actual objective of slaying the Enderdragon as the "victory" condition)... that gameplay is not mandatory and often not what people like about it.
