These smug asshats actually think they have power. If I were in the Trump administration I would make the suggestion to stop talking to the media, 100%. We have the technology for them to speak to us directly. Just make a .gov platform spread the word, and release all info there, straight to the people. Hell, Trump could send one tweet and 70+ million people would follow. I would make this priority one when he wins.

I was hoping he would punish them somehow in the last 4 yrs. Tell them they are no longer welcome at the press briefings. Invite real media companies instead. Or fuck, invite kids to report on it. They would do a better job.
If the press writes a false article, they get fined or disbanded (somehow). They have no accountability so they do whatever they want. It is time to end their monopoly on the news. Some of these NPCs may finally wake up if that happens
