6 months ago you couldn't imagine black thugs and violent white anarchists murdering conservatives and whites in the streets with impunity.
3 months ago you couldn't imagine seeing nearly a million fake votes counted with impunity
1 month ago you couldn't imagine dementia ridden pedophiles would actually declare themselves President.
If you don't realize your freedom and safety are an illusion that can disappear in a heartbeat, you're an imbecile. Our freedom is as thin af Earth's atmosphere. Deceivingly secure appearing....when it's not. Especially now.
I have never been a gun owner. I'm a 60 year old female. I know nothing about guns so excuse me if I dont know gun language!! Sunday I made my first gun purchase -an AR 15 and a Glock 45. Ammo was limited. I must say----everyone at the gun store was so helpful---feels like I now have an additional family.
People in the gun store were very cool and helpful.
GREAT!.
Order "snap caps" (fake bullets) to practice loading mags, chambering rounds, pulling trigger, ejecting, to get the feel.
Order a cheap $20 cleaning kit. Watch youtube. Cleaning your gun is EASY.
Remember with a semi automatic, the slide comes back violently when fired. Your opposite (usually left) hand must be cupping underneath (supporting) the hand holding the gun or you could really hurt your thumb.
You tube you tube you tube... lots of great advice.
Your gun ranger WILL help you. Practice, clean, practice, clean.

Congrats. You need to practice, practice, practice. Learn the rules of gun safety and practice them. Learn how to clear your guns, and just do it every time you handle them. Practice dry firing until you can pull the trigger without moving the sights. Practice shooting live ammo at the range. Nothing replaces practice.
And remember, guns are no good unless you have them when you need them so figure out how to carry your Glock safely and effectively.
Can you dry fire an ar or glock without damaging the weapon?
Usually if not done too often. I use snap caps to avoid damaging the firing pin
AR should be fine. Glock? No idea. I'm bot a pro.
