They hate the First Amendment because it restrains them from punishing other people who they disagree with. It doesn't occur to them that when the "nazis" are done being silenced the power used to do so remains. Someday, they become the "nazis". Authoritarians never oppress people without a very virtuous reason. They're always the good guys so far as their concerned. So far as you're concerned too, or else.

Plenty of "artists" on "the left" are deployed and amplified by monied interests too. The noise you hear from these people is paid for. That is something to reflect on and a great reason to just stop listening.
