This is actually an interesting case. They're arguing that the voters were denied equal protection under the law since the voting laws were applied more strictly to in-person voters than to mail-in voters.
I hope so. They could maybe counter-argue that those people were given the option to vote by mail-in and chose to pick the stricter option. I'm not a lawyer so I don't know the details of how equal protection can be applied.
It looks like they didn't even apply the mail-in ballot rules equally. Philadelphia County violated state law by inspecting ballots for missing signatures and missing secrecy envelopes prior to election day to aid their voters in curing their ballots. Other counties followed state law and didn't inspect the ballots until election day. Their voters weren't given the same opportunity as voters in Philadelphia County to cure their ballots.
Yep, and that's the exact problem with mail-in voting. The rules for in-person voting are strict for a reason. Who the hell knows if a mail-in vote was actually cast by the person whose name is on it?
How the hell did these state governments allow such nonsense?

ohhh man - that just might be the key to ending cheat-by-mail once and for all

Not to mention that if they started the counting earlier, there probably was no observers
