Is it just me or is the .win search feature broken? It doesn't appear to be working on my phone (Android). Others experiencing the same problem? Just want to check before messaging the mods

No. It's turned off intentionally so the site can handle overload of fraudulent news and posts.

Funny because I would often search before posting because I didn't want to spam the site with duplicate articles.

It’s not broken, likely just disabled to help preserve server resources. Search can be incredibly taxing on a system that scales very fast.

It’s been mentioned in a few posts already.

I read earlier that it's disabled. It's a way for attacks to the website?

I’m honestly not sure it ever worked... its so featureless, I can never find ANYTHING. Same as reddit’s search. No way to filter by time, etc.

What am I missing?

It did work in the past and quit well but others pointing out it was taking up cpu cycles during loads and the growing demand makes sense. Also another point to ddos the site too.
