Total UN troops is 2mil (minus our military). Add our military (active+inactive) + all law enforcement in the entire US & you still only have about 5, max 6 mil. So, even if the entire US military & law enforcement were coopted (not likely, but just as an example for perspective) & worked with the UN to overthrow the people, American citizens own more than half the firearms in the world. At minimum, 70 million Americans want to preserve America. Would they all fight against an invading army? Probably not all, but only 3% of the population fought & won the Revolutionary War. When you start adding up the numbers & looking at military history, it's clear why the US hasn't been invaded.
