I don't see how any rational person could believe Biden has anything to do with the vaccine. Do they not understand that the president is inaugurated in January?
I wish that this was really the case and that it got blown wide open. Every Biden voter realizing that their opinions only represent about 20% of the population rather than half.
Leftist folks I talked to today said that Trump had nothing to do with the vaccine. I told them he streamlined all the legal red tape for it or it wouldn’t have been available for release, and setup the military to be able to distribute it once available. They said ‘not uh’ and that was about it.

Streamlining red tape should have gotten more play than it did. I've even seen a few so-called Repubs trying to say Trump lost because he wiffed it on Covid. Were they asleep all year along with the idiot liberals? He was trying to ban flu flights from China while Dems were encouraging people to party in Chinatown. Then he was getting them all the hospital ships and ventilators they needed, while cutting red tape so supplies could be made/delivered and vaccines could be done faster, plus working with businesses to distribute tests. They grabbed all the goodies and money, then promptly turned around and accused him of not taking it seriously, and claim every death "with Covid*" is his fault.
*including any poor soul who died in a crash but tested positive
My prediction was in line with Scott Adams. Both candidates would declare they won, we’d have an awkward bickering period for a while, and Trump would win through SCOTUS intervention. If Biden did end up winning, almost immediately, they’d make up bullshit about how his leadership and task force somehow made Covid run away. That telling people to wear a mask was some novel thing and enough to handle it. And then they’d release a vaccine product almost immediately to help alleviate concerns even more because leftist states like mine are dying from no tax revenue and can’t pull back from saying Covid’s going to kill you.
On a related note, somebody I work with was asked if Covid left untreated always resulted in death. Someone else said that almost nobody dies of Covid. Then people got angry and shouted and I had to back him up with stats. 99.9% of people do not die, and if you’re under 65 and are healthy, it’s even higher than that. It is a completely accurate statement to say almost nobody dies of Covid.

I just asked them if they had any idea how many people die of the flu and other things. Then then look it up and are shocked but still think this is all Trump’s fault. TDS runs deep.
Oh good grief. My dad and I had the talk again where he told me to wear a mask to the gym because slow the spread propaganda. I had to explain it to him (with crayons mind you) that when I was at RTC Great Lakes last summer that the Navy had it so that we had to take our masks off when we worked out otherwise it was a choking hazard. He still didn’t buy it.
It’s starting to turn into the new AIDS. The same people who scold men for not hooking up with asymptomatic HIV+ men are literally the same people who preach abstinence as a solution for preventing the spread of disease on par with wearing a condom. This is painfully ironic considering that it now incentivizes people to NOT get tested. Even more so since these people also preach “abstinence only sex Ed doesn’t work”.
