Great point, and I'm definitely not surprised from what I've seen with friends and family who have full blown TDS. Cognitive-Dissonance is a real thing; think of cases where parents will not believe or accept their child is a serial killer or other type of monster. I think in terms of the Trump hate and how much they have personally embraced and invested in, they cannot begin to comprehend or accept any factual evidence otherwise.
