Free Voter ID, absentee only upon request and for legitimate reasons (I voted by mail this year because I was working out of state on Nov. 3), all voting machines must be secured, have no online access, and must be tested before and after votes are tallied to ensure accuracy, all counting rooms monitored by election officials and CCTV, hell I'd even go so far as to have peoples' fingers dipped in ink after they vote to ensure they aren't going somewhere else to vote again.

Ink isn’t needed if we have ID and a required precinct. But...
I think it brings up a good point. We can have a new school (encryption and hashing confirmations) as well as old school (all paper records).
