I was 12 in 2000. I vaguely remember the feeling everyone had then. I do know that election is what piqued my interest in politics.
Confession. My first vote as a naturalized US citizen was for Gore- don't hate me! But both parties were alot different back then, or really it was the uniparty. What were some of the issues that had me switch parties? The fact that Obama had minimal to no experience of running anything, that political correctness was becoming the norm, and that the borders were so porous that anyone could get in-and the dems welcomed them.

My neighbor was out raking the other day and I drove by. He has a Trump flag out. He'd not my next door neighbor but he's down on the next block. We have never met so he doesn't know me.
I leaned out the window and said "Don't you take that flag down!!" and he jumped startled and looked like he was about to try and kick my ass... he's like 'WUT DID YOU SAY!?!"
I'm like "DON'T YOU DARE TAKE THAT FLAG DOWN!" at which point he deflated and smiled the biggest smile I've seen in a while.
