I've only ever voted via machine (I live in Ohio), so I'm not quite sure how it is with manually filling out ballots but is there a certain type of pen supplied to polling places to fill out ballots?
Would it be possible to see if the illegally marked ballots all had a certain type of ink because they more than likely were supplied pens in bulk to mass fill out ballots? Whereas legally marked ballots might contain different types of ink because people supplied their own pens or used whatever was available?
It might be a stupid thought but I figured I'd throw it out there. I want to try and help out.

In Arizona several people claimed in Trump district voting places the polling staff force them to use sharpies. At First Arizona election officials denied that would invalidate the ballots, then later they admitted that a sharpie use would invalidate a ballot.
Well, my thought is that these fraudulent votes were filled out in a massive session, with hundreds of people working to fill them out. I would imagine the supplies need for this would be bought in bulk. So, all the fraudulent votes that turn up together will be filled out in the same ink because they all were filled out with the same type of pen which have the same ink (formula)?
Ah, re-read; Could you prove fraud by showing dozens were created by the same pen? My two cents is I doubt it
