I can't imagine that on a recount we wouldn't be allowed to observe it, that's the whole point isn't it? Otherwise immediate grounds to nullify recount results. It should be an election night total though.
If the precedent is set that partisan abuse during vote counts is that all those ballots are automatically invalidated, then it would seem to eliminate any upside to partisan abuse. I mean, you could do it - you could lock the opposing party out of the building, smuggle fake ballots in, forge signatures - but it would all be for nought, since it would all just be invalidated anyway. Another possibility would be extreme legal punishment for breaking the laws around vote counting, like the new law that tearing down a statue is an automatic ten years in jail without parole. All polling places should also be under security camera, and those feeds should be live-streamed online and then archived and made accessible by the state.
The question I have is does someone have a database copy that wasn't updated on Nov 10th? It would be interesting to see if there were mass changes in the DOB field to cover the issue that earlier posters were identifying.
I also don't see a create or modified date in the record. So you have no idea if they had someone scrambling to "cover" their tracks from any forensic analysis.
For example, if you pull up the database and find that there are 200K entries that have been changed AFTER the election, you would have to ask why and then go to the PA Dept. of Elections and ask for a backup tape from the 3rd of November to compare against.
Another big problem is this database does not provide data for mail in ballots received during 2020.11.4 - 2020.11.6, which are the most suspicious ballots.
