They expected most Trump supporters to admit defeat. They want there to be overwhelming political pressure for Trump to concede. They want the fight against fraud to become very unpopular.
It is the State legislatures that certify their state's electoral votes.
This is why political pressure matters.
Once Harris is President, they can stop any Federal investigation into Fraud.
It is obvious to me that politicians on both sides of the isle have never dealt with a force of the size and power of the Trump movement. They are scared shitless. They are watching decades of slow careful control and corruption being swept away by one man and his supporters.

Historically, voter fraud didn’t matter. Dems have always committed election fraud. They’re in it to obtain power by any means necessary.
The “punishment” for fraud has been one or two folks get arrested BUT, very rarely is the outcome of the election overturned based on fraudulent votes being thrown out. So, it’s a pretty safe way to win elections.
Typically, the Dems will commit fraud and win outright or they’ll “come from behind” a few days later and the democrat candidate will be declared the final winner. The republicans usually never fight the outcome and just roll over and accept it...until now.
I think this time, the Dems understood that this was a do or die scenario, so they shot for the moon. If they won, they get what they want.
If they get called on the fraud, then it’s a court battle and Biden could still prevail in court.
If they lose, they can spend the next 4 years burning the country down until people give in and vote democrat in 2024 to get the violence to stop.
They cheated and we caught them. They called it for Biden as quickly as they could for a few reasons. First was to hope they get enough public support to sway the courts to side with them “path of least resistance” when it gets there. They also want the judges to see how happy their base is and will accuse them of stealing their hopes and dreams if they side with Trump, where do you think their rage will be directed? By giving their base false hope, when Trump wins , they will turn that into rage and unleash it on the Country. Trumps second term will be more intense than the first as they will falsely claim he stole the election and is a fascist.
That’s where we all come in. We need to cut that rage off at the pass and help to redirect it back on the Democratic Party. We need to share all of the information that we can and expose the corruption. It was Trump and his supporters that were calling for fair elections this whole time while Dems changed the rules
