I was never a Jones guy, in fact probably 7 years ago, someone offered me one of his dvds, and i took it, because i liked the woman, but it really lowered my opinion of her. Never watched the dvd, and kept on believing he was a whacko.
Then i heard the first rogan podcast he was on. I realized he’s a very smart guy and a lot of what he said makes sense, and many of his assertions turned out to be factual. So for me, hes another source of information, and good entertainment. A lot of what he does is just shtick, and i find it funny. So i listened to his latest rogan podcast, and it was a treat, not many things make me laugh out loud while im in the car alone but he does. I think the guy is slightly nuts, like a click or two off of sane, but thats still less crazy than average. I would submit the entire democrat constituentcy as evidence of that.
Yea, his interviews after being de-platformed were less insane and more tolerable. I was an off and on listener from at least 2000 (maybe even 1999) going all the way up to 2012 or so. I didn't take much time to listen to him during my military years, though.
I will say, however, that intelligence can be offset by other less positive traits. He's a business man and an entertainer. He's about making the money and building that business empire above ALL else. That became evident to me along the way, so I grew out of Infowars.
