Facebook is doing weird shit to me on messenger

I was FB messaging a friend about how her son had received duplicate ballots. I'm on a desktop, so her words are black text in a white box, and mine are white text in a dark blue box. Suddenly, two things that I said were gray text in a light blue box, and the words themselves were cut off. I have never seen this before. Has anyone had this happen?

Yes! LOL. I don't have a Trac Fone, I just have an old Verizon 3g slide phone. I have a Mudita Pure on order for when they kill off 3g.

Yep! The other one I looked at was the Lightphone but I liked the Mudita for its aesthetics and a couple other reasons that I honestly forget now.

Luddites unite! LOL.
