Under our laws preventing someone from freely moving is kidnapping and some unashamedly left wing prosecutors have decided to put him under investigation, now that he no longer has immunity, because well while the intent was not to kidnap, he did violate the letter of the law, if not the spirit.
If found guilty he might be forced to give up politics and might lose his right to vote.
