Agreed for that tax income. Only thing I would legalize other than marijuana are psychedelics. With all that out of the way it would allow drug enforcement to really focus in.
I'm against decriminalize either soft or hard drugs, but I like the idea that each state should try what they want, then liberal cesspool will know it's a disaster policy.
Well, the pattern is: Marijuana becomes legal in X state, X state becomes blue. Reason: California people love their weed and the blue creep will be slower in states without legal weed.
NV, red turned blue (2006, medical then legal) AZ, (medical then legal) turning blue in 2022 since NV or CO ( use them because both were red for long periods of time) aren't the only ones on the Westcoast with the legal cannabis.
Double edged sword. Most conservative people don't do a bunch of drugs, some do (mostly libertarian right )
Not good for tourism or kids if you have homeless shooting up outside and police are defunded.
So if they can solve homelessness, it would be good. But this will all be done out in the streets.
Not all drugs are equal. Should he decriminalize marijuana and tax it? Absolutely. Meth, heroin, cocaine, etc? No way.

Addiction to anything destroys your freedom of self. I will oppose making you a slave.

Didn't Oregon just decriminalize certain drugs?
Yes, they were just talking about it on Americas Voice (on pluto.tv)
Ummm, are we talking about Cannabis or real drugs?
