To be fair, Decision Desk is run by one of the old posters from Ace Of Spades. As I recall, he did the Decision Desk as a side project before he decided to monetize it. Not sure where his leanings are now, but at one point he was on our side

He is 100% NeverTrump. He left AoS in a huff in 2016 when Ace (who had been anti-Trump/pro-Cruz) decided he wasn't going to help Hillary win by continuing pulling against Trump once primary/convention were over and Trump got the formal nomination.

Good to know.

I’ll still never understand the NeverTrump mindset. I understand people like Bill Kristol and the Lincoln Project, because they’re grifters. But the average Republican, even if they hate Trump personally, has to recognize the good he’s done in the last 4 years.

The average republican does. Trump has 95% support among Republicans. Never trumpers are essentially nonexistent— it’s just that the media keeps trotting them out to make it look like dissension in our ranks

The average Republican still gets their news from the News, and doesn't have any clue about all the things we see here daily.

This is true. I was talking to my boss yesterday and it was the first time I saw him in the last few weeks (telework). He knew nothing about the Hunter and Natalie Biden stuff, and definitely didn’t know about Joe “introducing” his son Beau on Election Day when he pointed at Natalie

99% of it boils down to "But he's so mean!"

There isn't a coherent logic behind it, it's a mindset (or culture, or worldview) as you call it. They are so in love with the straightjackets, and the comfy padded walls, and the lies written on them, that you pointing to the wide open door and innocent frolicking in the meadow isn't enough.

Personally I am not a huge fan of Trump the private citizen. Trump the GEOTUS however is a fucking hero. But that honestly is the difference between us and them, separating our feelings from the facts. We voted for America, they voted for personal hate.

There's a lot of truth in that which won't make you popular around here it seems, but the more I think about it the more I realize that his personality contains those key sets of characteristics that make him such a damn good president. Bravery, tenacity, stubbornness, an incredible drive to win, a YUGE ego that he projects onto the United States when dealing with foreign powers..

Basically he's what we got when we needed it most, and the leftists are terrified of what he'll do with another term where he no longer has to worry about another reelection.

Basically it's swamp draining time!!!!!! PULL THAT PLUG, #MAGA

No one likes to be wrong but there are a certain percentage of people who will never, ever admit they were & stubbornly persist.
