I have been at GAB since its inception in 2016. It deserves, and should have, the support of everyone who loves our president. Why it doesn't, is just unfathomable.
Gab doesn't require your phone number to join or an account just to see their version of a tweet someone links to. Even Twitter allows you to circumvent your own phone number with bv a free Google voice phone number, unlike Parler.
For a while there Parler had TD links blocked during the early frenzy of the Hunter Biden laptop thing. Don't know if it's still blocked or not. Parler is a Twitter like app, yeah. I haven't used Gab though.
It's pretty cool that a patriot account is only $500. I get badges and checkmarks to show how elite I am on Gab. I get to use bigger fonts than people who don't pay because obviously what I'm posting is more important. I also get a discount on promoted posts. I get to block other peoples' promoted posts, but anybody who doesn't pay has to look at what I say. I'm glad Andy modified a free software package, Mastodon, so that people like me can pay him for a louder voice and unearned credibility on his platform. I'm going to use it to sell my Kindle books and get people to subscribe to my Patreon and get views on my YouTube partner channel, so we can finally take down Big Tech and have real freedom of speech at discount prices.

I used their Dissenter app on my desktop, it was fucking awesome. there's just not enough people there.
It basically lets you go anywhere and create a Gab comment section.
It's actually pretty good. It's my preferred social media site.
Just be aware that:
the owner is a hopeless addict;
the site goes down for days, even weeks, at a time because nobody there knows how to design & build a website.
