Wow, the PA GOP-majority legislature finally realized that they have some power and can use it.

Would've been nice if they had done that earlier, when a Democrat judge ignored the legislature and illegally changed the election laws to facilitate the Big Steal.

Totally agree. I’ll take this, but I would have liked them to have “sacked up” earlier.

I think seeing the massive fraud being exposed before our eyes is the best outcome that could have happened. Otherwise, we would be exposed all the fraud and corruption with no-one at the helm (Trump) willing to do anything about it.

Might seem like an odd question - but do we have any reason to believe that PA GOP state legislature are going to act in Trump's ( our ) interest ?

Anything is possible, pedes don't know or many don't know that the GOP was forbidden to contest a national election based upon the grounds of fraud due to a 1989 federal injunction..That injunction was only lifted days before the 2018 midterm. This is why we say Rubio call out and legal action taken to stop the Dems from using absentee ballots to steal the governor and senate races..This resulted in the election commissioner in Broward as well as the clerk being fired.. Probably a good reason why Trump did so well in florida this year.. So now the GOP has the legal ability to contest and expose potential fraud, the GOP might realize if they get away with something this utterly blatant they will never let the GOP win again..

"the GOP was forbidden to contest a national election based upon the grounds of fraud due to a 1989 federal injunction."

I never heard that one. What about Bush versus Gore 2000?

They can just not certify the Electors OR place Republican Electors.

Maybe, but also, if you don't let them think they got an edge, they would've been more careful at covering their tracks. I think that was the plan all along.

I disagree. The whole purpose of the last-minute Democrat judge election law changes was to remove all the safeguards from mail-in voting - using COVID as a pretext.

That worked beautifully. The Republicans were caught totally off-guard and did nothing to address the problem.

So they didn't NEED to cover their tracks - since they didn't leave any obvious tracks. The mail-in ballots have precious little clues on them now - no postmarks and they were "permitted" by the court ruling to come in any time after poll closing.

The fact that the law was changed by the judicial branch as opposed to the legislative branch shows how unprepared they were.

Not much they could do after they took it to SCOTUS and Roberts punted
