I disagree. The whole purpose of the last-minute Democrat judge election law changes was to remove all the safeguards from mail-in voting - using COVID as a pretext.
That worked beautifully. The Republicans were caught totally off-guard and did nothing to address the problem.
So they didn't NEED to cover their tracks - since they didn't leave any obvious tracks. The mail-in ballots have precious little clues on them now - no postmarks and they were "permitted" by the court ruling to come in any time after poll closing.

The fact that the law was changed by the judicial branch as opposed to the legislative branch shows how unprepared they were.
