This week Jews read the haftorah from kings 1:1 describing the rebellion of 'adoniyahu', who claimed he, not Solomon, was David's successor and the new king.
After he failed, he begged the newly coronated Solomon for his life.
The numerical value (76) of his Hebrew name אדניהו is the same as the Hebrew spelling of Biden ביידן

Interesting. I have an ancestor named Adonijah. I assumed it was from the Bible but didn't know the story. Seems kind of weird to name a kid after someone like that. Is there a redemption arc for him?
