Well, when Barr went to visit McTurtle, their little chat was followed by McConnel's public support of Trump on the Senate floor, and Barr's authorization for federal prosecutors to go ahead with investigations immediately if they had evidence worth investigating.
So it's probably meaningful, but we won't know what until they do something in public.
Just my two cents- I know people who work for the agency. Conservative/trump people. And they say that Haspel has been the best director in their time there. Obviously they aren't privy to ALL the happenings. But that was their opinion of her as a professional.

Is CIA planning a coup against Trump. It is a rogue agency which Truman later regretted signing the legislation creating it.
It is an independent agency which means it is not under the direct supervision of the president and the director is not a cabinet post.
