Witcher WAS ABSOLUTELY an amazing game. I played that thing so many times, I would be ashamed to tell you the hours spent replaying it just to hear how something else worked/happened/ dialogue etc etc. So much to see and hear.
There's so many small lines of dialogue to be heard. The slightest variation could lead you to some crazy shit. You can do the game in the most random order and hear stuff you would not be able to hear any other way. I loved it.
Edit: liked the combat too. The dismemberment was awesome. The monsters were well done ( the leshen was cool AF. so we're those witches in crookback bog. The vampires. Was all very cool ). The lore was also well done. I have no complaints about the game other than I want another Witcher game to come out lol. But this time I want to see what happened on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CONJUNCTION OF SPHERES! I'm blood and wine dlc regis ( your vampire buddy ) tells you what happened during that time. And that MILLIONS of humans got stranded on their side during the conjunction while thousand of monsters got stranded on the human side.
Every game Bioware made was gold, until they shat out the ultra-cucked ME:Andromeda. They killed not only the franchise, but the entire fucking company's reputation.
Wait for the game to come out and get reviewed before buying.
I don't trust reviews. I normally buy then review it myself. Every review I read on days gone said "stay away? This game is garbage". Well I bought it, and was not disappointed at all. I read the articles on the game and see what features it has/narrative/type then either buy or don't. NEVER trust reviews Imo. They're as bought off as any other media.
As someone who loves CDPR and cannot wait for Cyberpunk, if you follow them / their devs on social you know they’re totally brainwashed SJWs. Cyberpunk is gonna cuck on a LOT
From what I understand, part of the design was to basically take the current culture and shoot it 50 years into the future where we basically become silicon beings and aren't human anymore. You are no longer a physical being but just a soul that occupies different forms.
And from what I've seen of gameplay it doesn't look woke. What I think is stupid is they got rid of sexes if I'm not mistaken.
It will definitely have some woke elements, even Witcher 3 had its moments. I am really looking forward to it, but I will wait till its out for a bit before I purchase. I never do day 1 anymore.
Personally, based on what I've seen and heard, I dont actually have an issue with their creator. In a sort of world where complete body customization and alterations are commonplace, who's to say that mixing and matching and customizing genitalia is not also something that would happen?
Sure it is most likely them pandering to the modern SJW, but in this case it fits in the context of the world itself. It's not like a black Queen of historic England.
CD projekt Red does great work. Looking forward to this game. I too, hope it doesn't get all woke and ruin it.
