I think that eventually, their strategy of erasing history will backfire on them with black voters.

One day, especially if they keep removing confederate monuments and statues, there will exist black people who think that slavery in America is a myth and never actually happened. If we've had a black president, and so many celebrities like Lil Wayne and Kanye West who have more white fans than black fans just from sheer numbers. I could imagine in about 50 years, it becoming a "myth" somehow.

I mean the holocaust was only 70ish years ago and some people deny that it ever happened. Many people simply believe that the number of Jews killed is the lie. That it did happen, but that it was closer to 600k than 6 million.

But by the time that blacks in America have all wised up to the democrat bullshit, their target demographic will have entirely shifted anyway. I just wonder where they'll go next. Their party definitely seems like it's in its death throws. This needs to be the end for the DNC, we need to utterly shatter them into pieces that can never be put back together again.

7
AmericanPigDog 7 points ago +7 / -0

Even the CCNA test is harder than anything I had to do in college for a CS degree. The electives I had to take were jaw droppingly useless.

How's the Bachelors program for Business Admin? Most people I've met at that level seem a million times smarter than MBA's who tend to ruin companies every time they get hired

Gibson guitars, Harley Davidson, any company that listened to short term ideas that killed the long run because some tool wanted to impress with an amazing quarter off the bat.

I'm a small business owner and I'm fascinated with the interplay between profitability, efficiency, and expansion. Shifting gears and running well at bigger scale is an art in itself so I'm planning on keeping things small and repeatable and just making several of the same model once we get the outsourcing down. Less than 5 in house people + lots of 3rd party deals for manufacturing and fulfillment. Rinse and repeat

You see many startup addicts doing that well? I don't want to go for a big IPO payoff someday, I'd rather build big interrelated systems and stay small so it doesn't become a corporate soul grinder for employees that don't want to be there anyway

Of all their college level folks none could pass math classes. Linear algebra really gives them trouble because you have to do proofs and and use logic. Hard to do when all you know is feelings.

9
John_McFly 9 points ago +9 / -0

Or differential equations.

"I can't solve this, so I'll make up a solution in N space, perform a transformation on the problem into N space, solve it, then bring the solution back into the problem space."

Holy crap that was a mind-boggling semester.

3
4more 3 points ago +3 / -0

Never had anyone in non stem get that high. Only first year math was required for them at my uni I think.

4
AActionHeroes 4 points ago +4 / -0

I have a film degree but made it through the higher mathematics classes you guys are talking about. I struggled with math for my whole life. I was in calc 2 and didn't even know how to divide fractions. It was only until a Russian teacher took tech out of the class and spent time with each student. He connected me with a great tutor that filled in the missing pieces. Once I understood, I went on to get a math minor. I use the skills in film to solve problems faster and sometimes in theory with lighting and such.

Tldr: Film major struggled with math made it through higher mathematics because of Russian coll..aboration.

1
4more 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s awesome but I was talking about 1 st year linear algebra. A lot of teachers in university don’t try to teach just try to make themselves look smart.

2
BeardedNinjaPede 2 points ago +2 / -0

When you say 1st year linear algebra, you make me think of the two algebra courses I took in high school. Solve for x kind of of stuff. Many college students have to take remedial education so this level of math is also taught in college.

There is also legitimate college level linear algebra where everything is done via the matrix formalism and eigen-everything. I think I took linear algebra after differential equations. Which one are you referring to?

1
4more 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well said. I should have just done a trade after I graduated from high school and I’m doing nothing with my degree now.

But that’s what you get for going to college in Minnesota where the machine still lies to the young and stupid.

4
BeardedNinjaPede 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm no longer young (32), but I did look into the salary prospects of a physics degree before going to college and they were pretty decent. It peaked at a masters degree because most PhDs spend their lives as broke lab assistants while M.S. degrees go to work in industry and government. I mostly chose that degree because I was interested in how the universe works and not on making big bucks though.

I worked hard, earned a M.S. in physics, paid off my enormous student loans, bought a house, and now make a 6 figure salary working from home (thanks to the COVID hoax). If anyone is to go to college anymore it absolutely must be for a STEM field. All other degrees are debt traps.

Business?

27
NUKE_CHINA 27 points ago +28 / -1

It depends on the program, but business can be sort of math heavy. Accounting, finance, vs human resources or general management. I'm currently getting my b.s. in business. I'm a new business owner and I feel like what I'm learning is giving me value.

They spend time teaching you algebra and calculus which you will never use because even if you deal with the "maths" in business you just use Excel Spreadsheets

3
NUKE_CHINA 3 points ago +3 / -0

Pretty much, but I use statistics quite a bit and it helps with making spreadsheets

2
BeardedNinjaPede 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you don't understand the "maths" behind what you're doing with that spreadsheet, you will easily make errors and not notice them. The computer scientists I work with make the most embarrassing errors all the time because they don't understand math, even at an elementary level. I've had so many problems because they always input angles in degrees in trigonometric functions in programs when they must be in radians. The guy checking your work will notice when you don't make the same mistakes your peers do.

Understanding the math behind what you do will also allow you to be creative and come up with new solutions to problems. Maybe your boss will notice? Otherwise, you're just a monkey typing in the equation someone else told you to.

1
SnowflakeJuice 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well then, I guess it's a good thing I don't work with maths, or make spreadsheets. I took the coursework, was one of the only dumb shmucks that did it the hard way, but as far as my career goes, never dealt with it. Worked in management, and now work for myself (I am calling myself a dumb shmuck, because my plan was always to work in management, but had to take the coursework

12

Yeah, don't lump all STEM people together though. There are plenty of elitism and inefficient teaching methods in top US universities that can turn STEM graduates into naïve, unimaginative geeks.

7
Mexicola1976 7 points ago +7 / -0

You just described a lot of Chinese and Indian STEM students.

3
eastern-truman 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's not their fault though. Culturally, Asian American students like us came from families that value obedience to parents and higher-ups. So whatever bs from the professors trickle down easier to STEM students with Asian background.

I have looked into both of these extensively and reproduced stuff with my own code.

  1. For the Benford's Law analysis, it is definitely suspicious, however I am not 100% sure that it proves fraud. What I think it does show is maxed-out voting in wards/precincts of average size around the hump in the chart (x100, e.g. 400's, 500's sized precincts). The maxed out voting is associated with such high turnout that it is a red flag for election fraud. A real election with the dirty voter rolls present in those places, should not have such high turnout. I think they are turning out the dead people, duplicates, senile elderly, no-shows, etc.

  2. Dr. Shiva appears to be mistaken in his analysis. I charted standalone Trump votes versus Repub party straight ticket votes, and found that they increased together. What he appears to be charting is Trump only votes MINUS straight party Republican votes against straight party Republican votes. That messes up the meaning and pretty much forces it to go downward. More comments here: https://thedonald.win/p/11Q8O2xl96/x/c/1BivihOxu5

6
vincent_waters 6 points ago +7 / -1

Unfortunately, this. The Hammer/Scorecard stuff, the dead voters, the voting for incapacitated people, kicking out the poll watchers, late ballot ballots, improperly handled ballots, etc. are what will win this election.

4
DiscoverAFire 4 points ago +5 / -1

Do you have any proof of 400-500 sized precincts, or did you just find a possible escape hatch and jump out of it?

-1
dahdahdah_dahditdah -1 points ago +2 / -3

I actually spent a while generating random data and making it "organic" so it followed Benford's Law, and then constraining it until it mimicked the shape of e.g. Milwaukee or Detroit City precincts. So just trying to interpret the data. And I certainly could be wrong. By definition though, leading digit analysis will favor numbers if they fall in a certain range.

spez to add: Here's a public github I created showing a Benford's analysis which I wanted to share so others could investigate it too: https://voteanalysis.github.io/benfordslaw_election2020/

3
DiscoverAFire 3 points ago +3 / -0

Working backwards you can build a data set to give you any statistical result you want. The power of statistics is working forward from real world numbers.

So answer the question. Are all of the precincts consistent at an order of magnitude population?

Once we sort that out we can address why the rest of charts follow benfords curve except for biden.

I love wikipedia for stem stuff like biochemistry and pharmacology but it's because each entry tends to have several citations next to it one can dive into to explore/validate. It's better than most other online resources for drug stats. Google doesn't seem to know what the keyword "Tmax" means half the time so I start with wiki and validate with whatever studies pop up

Most the time it has binding affinity tables and all sorts of other stuff I'd have to go grab my giant textbook for to look up

Anything else though.. it just sucks

Definitely agree. Sometimes NGT can be interesting, but when he was going off about how Jeopardy was a safe space for smart people, I was completely out. This guy is also said that we need to create a nation called rationalia we're only smart people like himself can live. Elitism definitely isn't dead

x-axis is how republican an area is, y-axis is trumps performance. The midline is 0% meaning republicans voted for trump and dems voted for biden. Typically you should see the data points around that midline because it wouldnt matter how republican an area is there would be a similar amount of people not voting for their party. But what we've seen is that lower republican areas have higher trump votes and higher republican areas have lower than expected votes for trump and the relationship is linear. This linear relationship makes no sense and is so perfect that it must be due to software switching votes.

It is from MIT Phd Dr. Shiva.

Each dot is a precinct in a county of Michigan.

X axis is % of people in the precinct who voted straight republican. This is used as a proxy for how republican a precinct is.

Y axis is (%of split ticket voters who voted for Trump minus %Strait Republican)

What you would expect was a straight line. The percent of Republicans with TDS that split their ticket to not vote for trump should be relatively constant across precincts. What you get looks like a algorithm siphoned a percentage of Republican votes.

Kavantar 6 points ago +6 / -0 (edited)

Funny, I was just watching this video about it... He starts going into what that graph is I think somewhere around 15 minutes. It basically is showing that precincts that have 70%, 80%, 90% Republican voted against Trump... which might happen if a voting machine seemed to have a knack for switching Republican tickets to Democrat.. but this is possibly fake news since the AP has already called the election. It's funny because the left's absolute infiltration and total destruction of what was once the world's most respected set of educational institutions, that of course is our once great American universities, has resulted in said institutions becoming dumber and dumber every year. If you're constantly adding new required curriculum teaching people about racial sensitivity or feminist dance therapy or African drum storytelling or some bullcrap (I made up the last one, probably still exists and probably just as dumb as I would imagine it to be), and your admissions are picking out the most victimized, most oppressed people, then you're going to create a breeding ground for conceited yet utterly clueless young adults.

In other words, the left has made our universities retarded (can't say that word anymore, fuck you), and all of the budding communist shemales that come out of the system have not learned anything of value. And, opposite to this trend, more and more smart self-learning entrepreneurs are realizing the scam that is a college education in 2020, and they are developing successful businesses without stepping foot in the leftist shitting circle.

The "I went to college so that means I'm smart" types are fucking annoying.

Have a shitty job and got one awhile ago. Suggested the job was beneth her the first day. Refuses to listen. Tell her to do something because it helps the whole crew at night and she says "oh well that's fine because I'm not scheduled for nights". Tell her to keep a piece of paperwork that would verify something was done earlier and totally misses WHY and says she doesn't need to because she writes down some unrelated piece of information.......

oh god and speak of the devil, she just pulled in and set her own car alarm off getting out.

Just gonna stop talking to her.

The British have an expression "too smart by half" which means really smart people who F things up by over analyzing or over complicating things. The miscalculation by the Left is they drank their own Koolaid and believe that Trump is an idiot who just stumbled into the White House one day, a rube like all his followers.

In any case the reign of cancel culture and all the rest is about to end and the Left is pulling out all the stops to prevent it. The Left has programmed people to think that science is whatever the scientists say and that to question it is anti-science or anti-intellectual. But they forgot that showing your work, explaining how you got the answer, is also part of science and +70M people are about to see their "work" behind the counting of votes. Rubes indeed.

Sometimes they use the term "college educated."

Either way, it is so ridiculously pretentious and insulting. Especially when the "educated" voters are the ones saying socialistic economic policies work. How about you guys read Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell and then get back to us.

I’m not sure at what point the left deemed themselves the party of moral and intellectual superiority but this last 8 months has without a doubt shown just how full of shit they really are. Although I think the media calling a biden victory was a psy-op to try and claim a false victory for Biden undermining GEOTUS and simultaneously getting the left to feel like they are on top of the world only for them to be let down hard at the inevitable TRUMP victory they knew would happen, creating a scenario for an even more enraged radical left then we saw before.... I am loving every second of this. Watching as the bullshit msm big tech and Democrats get exposed for the lying immoral cockroach dog shit evil people they truly are. Watching as “moderate dems” have swallowed the hard pill that by embracing blm and antifa they signed a deal with the devil and fucked themselves out of having any credibility or trust from the millions of conservatives in our country, now having to double down and support their side as all of the fraud impropriety and malfeasance are exposed. And lastly but what I’ve loved the most is the electric energy of American patriotism that I feel supercharging in my body every day, that I feel In this community every time I’m on here reading posts and comments. And the satisfaction I get knowing that there is a community untied in the fact that we will never let our liberty and freedom be taken from us by authoritarian tyrants. It’s truly beautiful. LONG LIVE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 🇺🇸

I can’t even tell you how many stupid PHDs I’ve met. They really think that their focused study makes them good at any broader study yet their minds only operate in few modes and their comprehension only comes with grueling effort.

What’s worse are the BAs and BSes that believe they’re above half the people who didn’t shell out $60k+ for a piece of “I’m smart” paper. They’re not intelligent enough to use their education as a tool to unlocking better perspectives, they instead consume their teachings as dogma and live to spread their limited perspective as if their degree is signed by God almighty himself.

That is their biggest problem. They are not smart in American ways. They are playing out of a book designed by Communist. The Communist have always been beaten. They may be able to read a book. But common sense nah.

Are precincts roughly 1000 people?

Why does benford law only alert on Dem votes and not R votes in any given state?

And Fraud, but you already knew that.

2
deleted 2 points ago +2 / -0
1
DiscoverAFire 1 point ago +1 / -0

Right, but it wasn't "mostly 3s for trump" it was "mostly 1s with a curved dropoff" as predicted by benford.

And you haven't shown that Michigan precincts are the right size to create weird data, which is of course possible.

I know statistics, I could teach the course. Benford law- in this situation - is highly predictive of fraud, but not proof I agree. You offered a possible explanation with no evidence proving it is a likely explanation, and used that to dismiss benford altogether.

And admittedly, I may be over defensive, I've argued with a lot of idiots today on Facebook.

DiscoverAFire 1 point ago +1 / -0

I largely agree. Benford is not proof of anything, just a circumstantial red flag.

I just differ because you said it was "easily explained" (which i rephrased as "dismissed") without offering any evidence showing that the very specific circumstance (consistent district sizes at a magnitude boundary) that would explain it actually occurred.

But it can't be explained away.

2
thedonpod 2 points ago +2 / -0

What was this from?

3
CaptainThiefDotWin 3 points ago +3 / -0

The line/bar graph on the left is the Benford principle being violated. Results naturally favor smaller digits (one of something is far more likely to happen than nine of something, etc.) whereas humans tend to make up numbers in a uniform way across all digits. Ergo, if results are coming in where the digits are uniform and not following even a shred of a hint of Benford's principle, you can tell human fuckery was afoot.

The graph on the right came the hour long Dr. Shiva vid about how a statistical analysis of the results prove that something is up. The line actually goes DOWN the more republican a precinct is, and it does so in a perfectly straight line. This would mean "the more republican a precinct is, the fewer of them vote for Trump", which absolutely make NO sense! I definitely suggest watching the entire thing if you find time.
