I have access to the pacer monitor which lets you track court cases.

Today the Trump vs PA case started.

Some updates people might find interesting:

Boockvar wanted the case transferes from Williamsport where it is now to Harrisburg. This was denied. I’m not sure if there is anything more to read into that but if anyone can make any points regarding this context, please do.

Plaintiffs and Defendant are scheduled to file their motions (for relief and dismiss respectively) tomorrow and follow up responses by 16th.

Oral arguments set for 17th at 1:30 pm.

Evidentiary hearing is the 19th.

Basis was that it is more convenient for her because they’re busy setting up to certify the election/paperwork etc and that it’s a hassle to get everyone to travel. Dismissal didn’t say reason in the brief summary but they might upload a pdf with the actual ruling reasons and I’ll let you know.

in my experience, convenience to a lawyer or party is not the test. change of venue requests smell of judge shopping!!

Exactly and that’s my point. Boockvar will live with that trip up the road. No need to change venue.

I’m going with judge shopping too, given the demographics around Williamsport and local support team Trump would have there.
