I think it's the same reason a druggy will start shooting up harder drugs right on the other side of a curtain at a kids birthday party. They get an entirely seperate rush from disgusting the average person and still being just as acceptable as anyone else(as in they THINK they pull as much weight, that's a discussion for a case-by-case examination though) and pulling the same weight. They think this makes them morally superior too in that they simply CHOOSE to be good people(again in their mind) and don't have to run away(again, in their mind they see YOU and most normal controlled adults ad being phobic from their lifestyle) from gay anal fuckfests.
