I used to have the exact numbers, but if you go look at the study where “muh 97%” comes from, it’s a laugh. First they sent something like 9,000 questionnaires out to people they deemed “climate scientists”. Of those, I think it was something like 1,000 who replied. Of those 1,000, the study curated those replies down to 79, and of those, 77 (not 72) agreed. 77 out of 79 is 97%.

And what did they agree to? They answered yes to the following two questions:

  1. The climate is warming to some degree, no matter how minor.
  2. Human activity plays some role in that warming, not matter how minor.

That’s it. All the other claims and predictions and hysterias they attach to “muh 97%” is just bullshit the corporate media pushes to sensationalize/terrorize the weather for ratings and clicks. And the politicians and activists and actors jump on board because it generates major funding and revenue and taxation and control. The actors and musicians jump on board to virtue signal.

Don’t believe me? Go look for a clip of an actual scientist preaching this doomsday hysteria on the news. Someone whose actual reputation would be on the line. They aren’t there. It’s all celebrities, news anchors, and politicians. It’s Al Gore, AOC, Bill Nye, and Greta. Go listen to an actual scientist and they sound more like Judith Curry or William Happer or Patrick Moore.
