Don't feel bad. His platform was too close to the neocon's. There's a reason Ron Paul stood out so much in 2008 and 2012.

Ron Pauls Guliani moment in 2008 is what turned me into a liberty lover, went libertarian for a while then realized I'm not ok with corporate tyranny in lieu of government tyranny and now I'm here!

I was a Libertarian (still consider myself that I guess) from 2010-2016. The party is just way too crazy and Libertarians are some of the most insufferable people I've ever met. If you even believe one non Libertarian policy (Like closing the borders) you're labeled a boot licker. They are all pseudo-intellectuals and think everyone else is a low iq retard. I was rooting for Trump in 2016 because I saw the way he was treated in the media and I saw the way r/the_donald was treated on reddit.
