I'm on 4chan frequently - I say it's like working at a pig farm. At first glance it's mind boggling that such a place of filth and shit could exist. Not to mention the slaughtering messes and insanely putrid stench.

After a while at your pig farm job, you don't really see any of the mess anymore. All you see is delicious ham and bacon that is produced. No more mess, no more smell, just daily work to produce the goodies.

4chans strength is that normies and newbies can't see past the mud and the shit. They can't get over the rancid smell. Anyone who attempts to visit is quickly driven away and calls it for what it is on the surface - a pig farm.

But for those who work on the farm, we don't see any of that stuff anymore. We see the end product - ham and bacon.

As someone who has worked at a real pig farm...nah, you never get over the stench, filth, and just plain nastiness of the job. You just become immune to it while you're there because you have to.

And I could tell you some tales about what is going on within the pork industry by the big commercial farms! (hint: might want to buy your pork locally and if you can't -- make sure you cook that shit really well, just sayin').

I suppose one could go with the analogy, but I'll go with "Chaotic Neutral", even though I've never had an interest in D&D. 4chan appears to be many things all at once and not really definable. I go my way; it goes its way; sometimes (like now) we cross paths.

Pig farms are pretty clean actually. At least the industrial ones.

Please don't destroy my analogy any further, friends.
