He is no where! He's in front of a green screen, (badly) and if you look closely, his mouth is vaguely cgi'd when he talks. His mouth doesn't move with the sound 100%. They must have corrected some craziness.

Pretty sure they are deep faking the mouth and hoping to get away with it.

To make a deep fake you have person A do a speech, then use neural networking to make a "fake" of person B imposed over the image.

What if "Person A" and "Person B" are the same person, but you need to cover up his dementia? Run the neural network only on the mouth and it could be damn hard to prove. There's no obvious facial glitches, because they could edit those out if they did happen, there's no obvious audio glitches, because the two voice patterns are the same.

You monitor the internet for people like me "noticing" things, and fix those the next time. His teeth probably didn't change shape this time like they did in the jeep video.

I remember that weird grimace/“smile” he kept abruptly making during his election night speech, uncanny valley shit. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they are deep faking him.

Here's a post I made about the with a single gif that is a pretty disturbing morph, facial muscles don't work like that.

Watch this video with the sound off (just for sanity): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1JitITYbPM&feature=youtu.be

Just watch the mouth.

  • The skin around his mouth is blurred and smooth through the whole video, even though the top half of his face is clear.
  • The jaw movement is in uncanny valley territory constantly.
  • The mouth position doesn't quite track right 100% of the time. It's like those apps that mouth swap, just a lot more subtle.
  • Much like the weird smiles, occasionally the teeth seem to morph from one frame to the next. This was the final tell for me, but the whole video screams fake.

Dentures do some wild things to your consonant formations.
