Lest we forget, China grounded the USS Theodore Roosevelt through Vietnam, who is also known as Covid Winner. Esper's party met with the Viet Congs last November and became real friendly.

Which is why when Vietnam struck the USS Roosevelt, Esper stayed mum. Not only that but they denied that the covid came from Vietnam. They tried to blame it on incoming supply planes from the Phillipines.

It wasn't only until 3 months later that they admitted that the carrier got covid from Vietnam (covid winner).

The Chinese and vietcongs have been high fiving each other since then.
