They completely misunderstood that it's mostly people seeking the truth, and finding that Fox at least appeared to be the closest thing to it in corporate media.

That's the thing about journalists. Not only do they think they're better than you, not only do they think you're stupid, they think their job is to tell you what to think, not simply supply you with the data you need to form your own opinion.

All of them do this, even the best ones at OAN and Newsmax. None of them are immune to it.

That's why it's so important to locate information from multiple sources. Fox got cocky and stopped being a second source and started thinking they were their audience's only source and could treat them as such.
