Our war is much, much different than theirs. We fight because they did!

This alone is why everyone should support GEOTUS

I hope the fact that he didn't start wars, while brokering peace deals was a major wake up call for voters.

Plenty of people in 2016 (like myself) didn't vote for him because most of them believed he would be the one to start WWIII.

As a veteran myself, I almost feel like you all are putting up a fight equal in terms. All is lost if we don't fight this domestic one.

That's the truth. At this point we're all fighting for freedom because of how corrupt the dem machine is.

Our soldiers being sent to Afghanistan to fight (stupid) conflicts is no different than cops being told to stand down by their commie mayors during riots; nobody joined up for that, and odds are nobody much likes the reasoning behind it.

Our war is much, much different than theirs

No it's not. Almost every war we fought in the 20th century was about stopping communists or (national) socialists. This is the decisive battle in that war - if Harris/Biden is installed, Communism wins, and our veterans fought and died for nothing.

Your heros saved my country from Nazi Germany, when Sweden’s first Marxism party allowed Nazi Germany to use their roads and train track to invade my country.

Your comment - it brought tears to my eyes remembering the way my Mom, who was born in England, and was raised there and lived there all during the war, used to say, and SMILE when she remembered, "Oh yeah!! . . . when the Yanks came!!"

RegularAmerican 3 points ago +3 / -0

Grandpa said you're welcome anytime

2
MW23232 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wow, seriously? Thank you, and him, in case no one ever really verbalized it to him at the time. They can be a bit stoic. From the way my Mom always said that tho, it made a huge difference to the people themselves, not just the war. My Mom anyway, was always so happy when she thought about "when the Yanks came!" Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to you both, and yours!

RegularAmerican 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks pede. I should say unfortunately he is no longer with us. But from heaven I'm sure he is looking down saying it too. My grandfather was an Army Lieutenant who went to europe. My other Gramps was navy and was in the pacific.

What's also kinda cool is my wife was born in the Philippines and I've noticed their older generation has enormous gratitude to the united states particularly our military. Unfortunately it's the younger generations who need to be reminded because they've never had to suffer like they did.

2
MW23232 2 points ago +2 / -0

Awww, that's a shame. I'm sorry. I am positive he would say that, too. Most military, ex-military, even up to present, are so humble. But their service is a big deal, and the lack of gratitude among some now is appalling, and embarrassing. Things went to Hell behind our backs and no one noticed till a little before POTUS came along. They cheated to make Biden "win", but they probably also didn't want people to know anywhere near the true numbers, how much support POTUS really has. I would love to know what the truth is. Regardless, we have to win. We have to keep our history. I hope and pray & try to help toward that goal because no way will we comply w/ what "they" are going to expect. And speaking of "suffering". smh

2
RegularAmerican 2 points ago +2 / -0

Everyone I grew up looking up to from the greatest generation always seemed to prefer to move on from the war and not really discuss it. And when they did discuss, it was stuff about friends they made, laughs they had. They never liked to think about the horror that the war was in reality. It's like they knew how dark humanity could be. They saw it with their own eyes. And they wanted to raise their children in a world free of all that evil. Which they kind of did for the boomers.

2
MW23232 2 points ago +2 / -0

For everyone before us, we have to fix this. We were tricked and never suspected, but we have to get this right. Right now. Fortunately, a lot of this country knows what's going on, when they never would have, or wouldn't have believed it, four years ago.

Had that happen as well, but it was some time ago when the site was maxed out, like first debate-ish?

I think the new patch addressed this, as I haven’t had it happen since, but not 100%.

6
LoneStarDangler 6 points ago +6 / -0

Huge part of the reason Sweden were making deals with Nazi german was the fact that they were seen as the lesser evil. Everyone in europe was scared shitless of communism, see Finland getting help from Nazi germany at the beginning of the war. You even had instances of finnish jews being awarded 3rd reich military medals.

Social democrats of the early 20th century had a lot in common with National socialism, marxist revolutionary movements were seen as the true enemy.

While in JROTC in school I was in a group which included my instructors that went down to the local VA medical center every Sunday and served coffee to our veterans.

I won't forget how my instructors and veterans would talk to each other like they were life-long friends.

As a Veteran, I love Veteran's Day. However, I really don't like how the past few years it's becoming more and more like Trick or Treat for Vets. It just feels so hokey, you want to honor veterans? Offer a percentage discount year-round like Lowes does. Don't turn today into some commercial pandering PR stunt.

Just a day off with family and beer is all I want.

man, todays troops are treated like stars. my stepdad was treated like shit for going to vietnam. i was treated like a ghost for serving in the 80's. but today's troops are like VIPs. i am not complaining. just a little jealous. lol

My husband and I are both veterans (as well as our fathers and brothers) but I feel truly saddened today. People in power colluded to shit all over everything we have fought for. I can’t even watch the news, trust people who spoke to us and I’m appalled at the state of social media. What a fucked up unreal situation we are in right now.

5
FreedomFlowerDelta 5 points ago +5 / -0

You didn't fight for our government. You fought for US. And we will not let you down.

2
RegularAmerican 2 points ago +2 / -0

Eh it wasn't us that wanted to go invade iraq. I totally blame the "intelligence" community and congress on that. Let's face it they fought for dick cheney's family. That war did not benefit america whatsoever. Trillions wasted. All in order to turn iraq around from becoming what we can't even fight off from happening in our very own country.

I'm not trying to say our serviceman and women don't do it for us. But the duties they are assigned to by the people in control do little to benefit have them serving their interests which is nation building.

I approved of hunting and killing terrorists after 9/11. I didn't want to rebuild the middle east at the expense of the united states. But all our leaders like bush have all that blood on their hands. But they just wipe that blood with 100$ bills now while they laugh at us.

What we are doing is our way to return the favor to those who risked their lives and those who gave it all to defend the freedom the Dems are trying to steal.

We will not let evil take the nation our veterans defended.

Everyone needs to start their day today with the Pledge of Allegiance!

God Bless the USA!
