I will abandon the city forever if it turns out it stays blue; I used to go 3 to 4 times a year, and drop a decent amount of coin.

My home town, I left in 2012. The writing was on the wall then prior to that. The mass migration of Cali liberals into Vegas changed it completely.
I have family members and friends there, they like it despite the politics. unfortunately I need to start considering that when I decide where to spend my money

Just completely starve the big cities of any revenue from us from food, entertainment and travel.
Go to a red state if you can, we moved a planned trip to LV in Nov to Miami.
I live 20 miles outside Austin, we don’t even like going into the city here.

Man, you don’t need LV anymore. Michigan has casinos and just approved sports betting and online gambling. They are being brought online right now, lead by someone who is a HUGE Trump supporter. Head on up to the UP, a red area, and get some R&R fishing and hunting while hitting the tables at night. Fuck LV.
