The people at the NYT just feel so good about themselves that they can pick up the phone and talk to people in positions of power with regularity. They aren’t trying to do any reporting, they just like being in a circle of people in positions of power because it coaxes their egos. The people who read the NYT similarly just like to coax their own egos of reading from the people who write about them talking with people in positions of power and their feelings about the situations going on today. The NYT is a glorified gossip column imo. No legitimate reporting, just a globalist circle-jerk of people stroking their egos as they try to associate with people perceived as wealthy, powerful or prestigious. If these people cared nothing about perceptions and their self-vanity, I would trust them a whole lot more, because they would likely be conducting real reporting, not this he said she said bullshit.
