Dominion was never used for federal elections, we still use pen and paper federally.
Those then are counted by hand. Dominion was used by some provinces and municipalities, but not all. In Canada we have 3 totally separate and different election cycles and they happen at different times and sometimes different years. My municipality used vote tabulators last, maybe Dominion, and now come to think about it we got interesting results from it.
