They did a flat 5% change in the tabulations and that made him comfortably win with no need to add other methods of fraud. So no one looked into it.
Now that we know what to look for I am curious if we would find the same manipulation of the vote.
Trump talked like he knew fraud was a common thing when running against Hillary. What happened this election is not new. They just had to overcome a landslide that the 5.66% auto vote switch was not able to do the job by itself. The additional vote dumping and vote importing is what exposed them to this public audit.
In 2008 I don't believe so. He was popular, regardless of what you think of him (and I think he's a piece of shit, horrible president), he had genuine enthusiasm in 08. I remember, even conservatives I knew at the time voted for him.
In 2012 I couldn't say, I didn't pay much attention and I know all the conservatives I know didn't vote for him and my liberal side of the family didn't vote for him (but they voted Trump twice, one in 2016 and this year which still blows my fucking mind)
